About Us

Muay Thai Canada is a sport organization for both amateurs and professionals whose mission is to provide athletes, clubs and provincial organizations across Canada with support, development, education, and competition in the sport of Muay Thai.

There is a noticeable need across Canada to sanction and professionalize the sport and to give Muay Thai clubs across the country the tools and support to train world class athletes that can compete at national and international championships.

Muay Thai Canada is the national body that develops, sanctions and harmonizes the rules and regulations of competitions in all provinces and oversees the standards of all Provincial Sports Organizations across Canada in the Sport of Muay Thai.

A key ongoing mandate of Muay Thai Canada will be to assist leaders in the Muay Thai community across the country to create the highest standard of rules, regulations and governance, by overseeing and facilitating the set up of professional Provincial Sports Organizations or their equivalent and by proving education and training such as courses for coaches, judges and referees.
